Floating city near Siem Reap – Cambodia

After visiting the temples like Angkor What and all those great ones in the area I visited a floating city near Siem Reap, Cambodia. We went in the afternoon so we would also see a sunset. They always include such times for the nice pictures ofcourse!! And you will see on the end of this post we weren’t dissapointed!!

What a strange life it must be….living on water.

And what about the the children…

Not a good picture but it does give such a good sight of how the locals live here. You see the small kid eating and mom’s is making sure she’ll get home by rowing her boat.

Just some relaxing time on the porch!! And do you also see the kid left to it? Sitting in the boat?

Also the local supermarket is floating ofcourse!

And this must be the way you go to the supermarket!!

For sportsactivities they even have a Basketball field. I really like that! School activities but also for the community to use!!

On the social media I got reactions on this pic.. They thought it was really sad for this kid. I totally didn’t see it like that. The kid has freedom to go where it wants to go. Just as the kid that has a bicycle and goes around the neighbourhood!! I like the recoursefulness!!
